This is a NEW Creative Lab class -- prepare to get your hands dirty!So you're an artist; you love flowers, and you love to photograph them. Why not expand your creativity and learn how to style them as well? In this Creative Lab class, Lucy will provide you with all the materials you need to create a still life scene and then shoot it. Follow along as she demonstrates the entire workflow from sourcing supplies, arrangement, and then shooting. You will learn all there is to know about the best flowers to shoot, color theory, creative composition, light, and shooting techniques. All levels of photographers are welcome, but a good grasp on manual focusing is suggested to take this class. Experience shooting in manual is preferred, but Lucy will call out settings for beginners to plug into their cameras. A macro lens, a 50mm lens, or any creative lens is preferred, and no floral arranging knowledge is required. Bonus: who doesn't want a pretty arrangement to take back to their hotel room?! And you'll also take away a printed handout with "recipes" so you can keep practicing on your own.
